Nyo!Belarus X Reader- A Day in the Park {COM.} (Oneshot!)

Legend

(f/c)- Favourite colour    (f/b)- Favourite band    (f/a)- Favourite animal

A/N- *clears throat* This is way late and way short and badly written. Sorry! ;_; I was in a rush to complete this!

There was a carnival going on in your town, and it was going on all day and night long. And here you sat, waiting for your long time friend, as well as crush, so he could take you to the carnival. Speak of the devil and he shall come, right?

❤Flashback❤

The phone rang, bringing you out of this sob story romance novel that you were reading a minute before. Sighing, you closed the book after bookmarking the page and in an annoyed manner, answered the phone.

“Hello?” you asked a restrained manner. Hey, you were getting to the good part in the book. Not.

“There’s a carnival in town and you’re coming with me,” the Belarusian male, Nikolai, said. More like commanded. Not that you cared; he was always like that and that’s the man you fell in love with.

    “Sure thing. What time?”

“In an hour,” he responded. “Ubačymsia tam.

“M’right. Later,” you said, standing up and stretching. You, more like he, hang up. Manners, you would say, this boy does not have them.

Dressing in a (f/c) hoodie, (f/b) shirt, black skinny jeans, and (f/c) converse, you sat on the couch, waiting for Nikolai to burst through the door, order you to come along, and drag you with him.

❤Now at the present❤

Several quick, curt knocks sounded against your door before the door was open and a silver haired head peeked in, violet eyes shimmering in the light.

“Hey, Nik!” you greeted cheerfully, standing up. he gave a small, genuine smile and walked out the door, you in tow. You shut the door behind you and locked it as you followed him out the door and to his silver car.

    “Anyone else coming with us?”

“No. Just you and me,” he said, mumbling something else that you couldn’t catch.

“Surprise,” you said sarcastically, thinking about how he usually doesn’t like to leave his big sister sister, Anya.

“Whatever,” Nik replied, shoving the key into the ignition and turning on the car.

❤Time Skip because the author’s lazy❤

Nik got out the car after killing the ignition and walked calmly around the front to your side, his long coat billowing out behind him. He opened the car door and extended his slender hand to you, the cuff of his sleeve slightly rolled up to show his wrist. You took it gratefully and, with his help, step out of the car.

Back to you and the Belarusian. Smiling cheerfully, you looked ahead at the carnival, full of games and prizes, you name it. Nik looked at you and couldn’t help but smile. His gaze tore away from your form, and instead settled at the nearest game, which had a stuffed (f/a) on display. The game was a dart game, where the person pays the man five dollars and gets three darts to throw at the balloons and at least pop two out of three. It was a pretty simple and fairly easy game, except that the dart’s were actually heavier than they look and the balloons don’t pop that easily.

Nik must have seen you staring longingly at that stuffed animal, so being the person he is, he grabbed your wrist and practically dragged you over there, fishing out his wallet from his coat pocket and pulling out the needed money.

“Niiiiik~! What are you doing?” you said, stumbling after him clumsily. He merely glanced over his shoulder at you, only to stop once in front of the game stall and letting go of your wrist. He paid the man five dollars and took the three darts from the smirking man. To the man, Nik looked weak, especially with that long coat covering him.

Carefully, Nik tested the weight of one dart and rolled it around in his fingers before holding it between his index and middle fingers. Whipping his arm sideways, he let the dart fly from his fingers and narrowly miss a balloon, only scraping the side of it. He let out a ‘Tch.’ and did the same with the second dart, which landed and popped a blue balloon squarely. Casting you a glance in your direction, he saw you staring at the popped balloon, an excited smile painting your lips. Nik then repeated the process with third dart, which was successful. The game stall man asked for which stuffed animal, and in response Nik only pointed to the (f/a). The game guy took the stuffed animal down and handed it to the Belarusian.

“Here,” he said, handing the stuffed animal to you, which you gratefully took.

“Thanks, Nik!” you said cheerfully, hugging him quickly and grinning ear from ear. A pale pink dusted his cheeks, making him turn his head away in order to hide it.

Nearly squealing, you tugged on his wrist and started nearly running towards the cotton candy stand.

❤Time Skip brought to you by Fem!Russia❤

“Nik, let’s go on the ferris wheel! I bet with the sunset and all, we’d have a fantastic view,” you said excitedly, pointing to the ferris wheel. He nodded, giving a little smile, and allowed you to pull him along to the giant wheel. Standing in line for a few minutes, apparently others had the same ideas, you and Nik finally reached the front of the line. Nik paid for the tickets and allowed you in first. Once you were both settled, the ride jolted and started moving, taking its leisurely time to complete the cycle. Smiling, you watched the ground get farther and farther away.

The ferris wheel jolted to a stop, where both you and Nik were near the top. Gasping, you stared out, mesmerized by the pure beauty painted across the sky before you. Bursts of colours ranging from scarlet to orange and pink were painted across the sky, seemingly melded together to form the perfect colours, complimenting the sky and scenery, where the lights began to flick on.

“It’s beautiful,” you breathed, resting a hand on the glass.

Da,” Nik replied simply, tearing his gaze from the scenery before him and looking at you. In his eyes, you were the most perfect angel that fell from Heaven. The dying sunlight surrounded you, casting its beauty over you as if picturing you as a goddess.

As if sensing his gaze on you, you turned your head to meet his blue (almost violet) eyes. A small, light pink dusted his pale cheeks. You smiled gleefully, glad you came here with him.

“Thanks for taking me here, Nik,” you said. He shook his head, smiling lightly.

“It’s nothing,” he spoke quietly, looking at the ground far below you two. You looked at the setting sun as it vanished over the horizon, the only traces of the quickly dying rays of light. The ferris jolted to a start and started to turn, bringing you closer to the bottom.

❤Another time skip❤

Nik parked the car in your driveway, silently contemplating his decision. You glanced worriedly at the Belarusian; sure, he always looked to be thinking about something, but never did he think this hard about something.

“Is something bothering you?” you asked carefully, not wanting to anger him.

“I… love you. More than my sister,” he blurted out, fiddling with his gloves. You were shocked; never, never had you ever imagined him to just blurt out his feelings for you. After a moment, you recovered from your shock and smiled genuinely.

“Aw, Nik. I love you too. A lot.” You leaned over and pecked him on his cheek. Well, you would have if he had not turned his head, so you had kissed his lips instead. You were about to pull away, if not for the Belarusian’s hands preventing you to do so. So, you settled for deepening the kiss.

A minute passed, maybe two, and you both pulled away, breathless and red. A slightly awkward, yet comfortable, silence filled the next few minutes.

“Thanks so much, Nik. And, uh, see you tomorrow?” Nik nodded focusing on the steering wheel in front of you. You simply smiled softly and got out the car, shutting the door behind you. Walking to your door, you dug your keys from your pockets and unlocking it. You turned around, just in time to see Nik backing out of your driveway. You waved at him, in which his response was a raised hand. You turned back to the door and walked in, shutting it behind you.

    What a day.

Wait… Where’s the stuffed animals you got today?! You looked out the window to see Nik’s car disappear into the darkness.

Oh well… I’ll get them tomorrow. Laughing to yourself, you went into your room.
